So, I'm thinking about re-naming this blog (or lack thereof) the "Only After Midnight" blog since I feel like I only really have an urge to post after 2am. Part of this is the frantic need to do EVERYTHING I haven't done before going to sleep (write in my actual journal, make lunch, clean, catch up on work, etc). Part of this is that, if I write in my blog any earlier in the day, I feel like I might potentially miss out on blogging something (like anything super important actually goes down in the blog, ha ha).
Goals for the week:
-Not cook since I've got a bunch of reports (well, 2) to knock out for work
-Tweet articles "of substance" (not just "cooking bacon". Though I will tweet about cooking bacon)
-Write in my notebook more. Writing lists usually keeps me on track. Usually.
-There were more, but I forget what they are. One of us was not writing things down. See Point #3.
Been reading more on
Edward Tufte lately.
"Who?" you ask?
He's someone I read about a few years back (when I was still in Ecuador and actually read magazines. And wrote emails) who does design and information visualization. Pretty cool stuff. I bought one of his books at
Strand Books and am trying to integrate that into the reports I am writing for work. He was recently appointed to the President's Recovery Independent Advisory Panel.
Any thoughts on the
Challenge Index (I'm asking more about the concept of it, rather than the actual schools on it)
