So, hanging out in the Jet Blue terminal. You know, just a typical Saturday. En route to my cousin's wedding in Los Angeles. It's been a busy week at work and it will be another busy week next week (when I arrive from LA Monday morning at 5am. Ugh), so it will be interesting to see how much of a vacation this actually turns out to be. It is a great chance to see family (plus, you know, wedding), so I'm happy about that.

Caught myself checking my ties and trying to figure out which one goes with which shirt. Plus there's this formal work event on Wednesday. So I guess I have to figure out how to actually wear formal clothing again, rather than just slinging on the blazer over a t-shirt (Which I, um, may or may not be doing now). I might even go all out and buy an iron. What is this world coming to? (Note: this will be the first time I've worn a tie since returning to the US. And would also be my first iron) My boss seems amusedly dubious/doubtful that I can pull this off.

There are comfy looking beanbag chairs here, but none of them by computer outlets, so I have to pass. Sitting at the rather sterile counters. But electricity! So...

My sleep schedule this weekend is being somewhat determined by my internet access - supposedly we have wifi on the plane (I love you JetBlue!). I need to check in on stuff for work (they know I'm traveling, but I'd like to help. Plus, you know, there's that Catholic/Asian guilt from a few generations ago) and there's a bunch of minor stuff I'm sitting on, so hopefully I'll knock some of it out this weekend. Plus there shouldn't be a lot of wine (if any) at this wedding, so I'll probably just be chugging coffee anyway.
