Day 2 of Random Internet Multitasking continues (well, comes to an end actually because I want to leave the office while it's still light and enjoy the sunset and call my Grandmas before dinner on the West Coast). A friend claims that all internet is multitasking, but I feel like I'm usually somewhat concentrated on one task whereas today is a little of everything (though I'm falling behind. Blech).

Went running again. Less of a sore on my foot, though I am more tired.

I also successfully (well, kind of) made yuca (cassava) patties at 1am last night. Finely grating them (rather than the large grater holes) is the answer, but I need to make them smaller otherwise they don't cook well. :(

My tienda lady called me out yesterday on shopping at other stores. I mean, she's right. So I kind of white lied it off. Does that make a bad person? (Admittedly, I also ate out a lot last week, so there).

Another thing I forgot to mention is that lately, I've been inheriting things from volunteers either who are leaving or want to get rid of stuff - diaries, vitamins, etc. My favorites so far have been a guitar (!), a pair of hiking boots (which I am wearing now) and a tennis sweatshirt. Now everyone thinks I play tennis. Something like that. I wonder what this says about me and my identity? At any rate, it's no worse than thrift store shopping, right?
